October 2, 2020: Watford LLC announces with deep regret certain limitations and reduction in the manner of dividend payments effective from this year. While the company has always adopted a high degree of transparency in its dealings with shareholders and investors, it has no option but to implement reductive measures due to the critical and arbitrary constraints placed upon it by the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Watford LLC has always abided by transparency of business when dealing with its shareholders and partners. However, it now requests all parties concerned to cooperate in this difficult time because of the restrictions placed upon it by the SEC. Although Watford LLC is not in agreement with the SEC actions, it is required to comply in accordance to regulations enforced upon it.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission is wilfully attempting to destabilize the company’s daily operations by imposing several terms and conditions. It is aware of how detrimental this can be to the company’s daily business activity.
The SEC has arbitrarily listed Watford as a US stock exchange even though this isn’t so. The move forces the company to comply with a registration process and other restrictive measures in place. Watford LLC is not a stock exchange despite working with securities which in effect does not require it to comply with the demands of the SEC and other Government organizations. The company has every right to pursue its own activities since it possesses all licenses and documents to do so.
In the wake of the ongoing SEC verification process, the company must comply with SEC requirements of limiting dividend payments to shareholders and increasing the payment period till such time the proceedings are over. Thus, the company is forced to implement a more complex method of dividend process to be reduced by 4 or 5 times with a payment frequency of just once per year. Moreover, the SEC is also forcing the company to refuse from its partners, referral bonus payments, and electronic payment systems appliances including the usage of cryptocurrency like bitcoin.
Today Watford LLC is under threat from the SEC, competition and US government agencies. In lieu of the current situation, the company has no option but to comply with the SEC to prevent facing sanctions. The new limitations on dividends are necessary to avoid any further consequences. Failing to comply with the requirements of the SEC may result in severe penalties, cancellation of license and suspension of business.
On its part, Watford LLC will extend its compete cooperation, and do its best to fulfil its obligations as a good partner.
