Biki Sarkar is a highly ambitious and determined 22-year-old from Siliguri, a small town in the state of West Bengal, India. Though young, he is a true visionary. He started his entrepreneurial journey when he was just 16 years old, at an age when most youths are enjoying their college life. Even though he belonged to a middle-class family and had nothing more than Rs.50 as his monthly pocket money, it never stopped him from dreaming big. At a time when he was completely unaware of the meaning of the word entrepreneur, he wanted to become one and inspire the youth of the nations with his work. Also, he wished to be self-employed rather than being caught up in a 9 to 5 job. So, he always dreamed to become an entrepreneur and was willing to work hard for it.
Biki took his first step towards becoming an entrepreneur at a time when the world was losing its mind because of COVID-19 to grab an opportunity to do something good for society. He started researching many things which included digital marketing and affiliate marketing business. The research intrigued him about the marketing industry, and its potential to create success and stability. The facts he witnessed convinced him about the earnings and the prospective scalability of the business. Soon, he started his digital marketing business and since then he has never looked back.
Today, at the age of 22, Biki is the founder of Porashona, the first-of-its-kind e-learning platform that teaches students in the Bengali language. Since its inception in 2020, the platform has grown many folds under the policies drafted by Biki. With the e-learning platform, he has not only created wealth but throughout his journey, he has also mentored 5500+people across the country. He always had a vision of educating people of the nation about Financial Education and 21st Century skills and to achieve this vision he has now started an initiative called #StartKaro, an online session for like-minded people to learn about the skills that can help you earn high-income, on his Instagram page for free. He is also the founder of SelfUp, a community of learners, creators & hustlers who are enthusiastic about 21st-century skills that can help them to become successful in their lives. Biki is also associated with IDigitalPreneur which is a digital e-learning platform focused on developing the skills of its students through its array of courses.
In a recent interview, Biki stated, “ I firmly believe in hard work and always being involved in the race of life. One really wins in life when they are able to maintain the success they have achieved. Though one may experience a loss in the race someday, you shouldn’t really give excuses about it. Instead, you should learn from your mistakes and put in extra efforts to become successful.” Biki Sarkar is an example for youngsters and people who are ambitious and want to do something extra, something unique. Youngsters can take his example and start doing things that inspire them.
