Behind Chateauvince Solitaires & Jewellery, stands Amit Jain, tall & proud, as not only the founder of Chateauvince but also as someone who gathered the courage to follow his heart and made an inspirational career move from being a High Court lawyer to being a business founder.
This is the story of Aman Jain and his baby Chateauvince Solitaires & Jewellery.
Born & raised in Chandigarh, Amit Jain is a Post law Graduate from University of Warwick. After practicing law for some years, his heart yarned to indulge in luxury and all things precious. He recalled that his father had always urged him to delve into the field of gemstones and precious jewels.
The lawyer in Amit decided to do justice to his Heart and switched careers!
Amit says, “Law is a very interesting field – it is just that I realised that it was not MY true calling. I have always been fascinated by luxury and that is why I switched to the luxury jewellery business.”
Amit moved to Surat. Here he learned the ropes of the trade in a Diamond jewellery manufacturing factory which was owned by his father’s friend.
“I was learning under their guidance. It was during the learning process, that I would share their products with my friends and family over WhatsApp – with their permission of course. The products were liked & queries started turning into orders. This not only helped me learn the trade hands on but also gave me the confidence I needed! The factory I was learning at, was very impressed at this outcome & offered me partnership for their store in Delhi. As thankful as I was to them, I always wanted to pursue my own venture – and I set out to launch Chateauvince.
After Nine years of learning and running his own venture, backed by a rock-solid team that stood shoulder to shoulder with Amit and the guidance of some very sound mentors, Chateauvince is not only the most sought-after store for Solitaires & men’s jewels, but Amit Jain is today, regarded as one of the most respected Diamond graders in the Tri City.
Chateauvince carries an eclectic mix of Indian and Victorian jewellery. “The Indian customer today is one who is very well travelled across the globe. Their tastes have thus evolved into a more global palate. And we are committed to giving our customers what they like. Our store is like a melting pot of cultures and inspired jewellery. We have traditional Indian wedding jewellery on one hand and then we boast of a super fine collection of Victorian jewels! Our cocktail rings have actual Columbian Emeralds! At the same time our office wear & men’s jewellery is very sought after!”
With an extremely impressive lineup of men’s jewellery Chateauvince is the preferred name for men’s jewels.
“Our forte’ is stylish designs for men who are seeking ‘high on design’ accessories. Our collection of rich crafted Diamond watches, Diamond Cuban Chains & bracelets for men are highly sought after. Some of our most precious pieces are crafted in India, Italy & Dubai. We literally have been the game changers in the field of menswear, where we have created designs that appeal to the menfolk and gives them the chance to wear jewellery that goes well with their style – right from every day wear to occasion wear!” Informs Amit.
Chateauvince is also a much-trusted name for getting old heirloom jewellery refurbished. “While we have gone global, we cannot ignore our roots. And preserving old jewellery is one of the best ways of doing this!” says Amit.
